Hey, it's me.
Kay Charalambous
My story
In my journey so far, I am a competitive CrossFit athlete, a level 2 CrossFit trainer, and a graduate from the Physical Education and School Sport faculty.
In pursuing to learn as much as I can possible, I can now share the knowledge i have practised throughout the years.
This is why i am creating this website and journal. To share thoughts, stories, and knowledge about health, fitness, training, menstrual cycle, books, and whatever else is related to these.
Hoping this way I can inspire more people, especially young women who are starting their journey, to be lifelong learners, to try and fail until we make it, to strive to be healthy, fit and confident to be ourselves. To feel empowered by how strong our bodies are and can be. We dont need to get to an end goal to feel worthy. It’s the journey. You are worthy now.

Whatever you are working on, continue. Keep working on it, until doubts fade away. Until you learn to trust and belief in yourself because you keep showing up.
Keep showing up. Beginnings are always messy. Keep showing up until you start falling in love with the process. Once you see the light of your work, you cannot stop, so you continue. You start to like it and appreciate it. Always to start is the hardest. Between fear and courage, choose the one that will take you forwards.

Following a fall I had whilst walking in our neighbourhood both my husband (age 79) and I (age 76 ) decided that we should begin training to improve our stability and mobility. Kay was introduced to us by a friend and we began a twice a a week training program with Kate as our personal trainer. It was one of the best decisions we ever excellent personal trainer. Hard working, always punctual, firm but always smiling!The expertise and guidance she has provided throughout our strength training sessions have been amazing. Her consistent updates and re-designing of our sessions kept us up progressing constantly. The results were faster than expected and we have developed confidence and drive to stay healthy! Σε ευχαριστω ότι έγραψα είναι λίγα γιατί πρώτη φορά συνάντησα γυμνάστρια που να αγαπά πραγματικά αυτό που κάνει !!!

I had already started doing Crossfit for a few years when I met Kay. She became my coach during the weirdest time, just before Covid and then during the quarantine periods. It's so hard to choose only one thing to say about Kay so bear with me as I will write a few! Kay is the type of coach that knows what to say and when to say it. I always felt supported by her and confident to her ability to help me achieve my goals. I am not a professional athlete and I was never passionate about fitness. I wasn't good at weightlifting or gymnastics. Kay had the knowledge to understand what my body could do, provide scaled versions and progressions for different exercises and helped me improve my strength, technique and conditioning without feeling overwhelmed. Her passion for coaching is always pushing her into finding different methodologies and different exercises to help you to improve. She is watching you patiently and always provides feedback in an understandable way. She is also a great athlete. Whatever she is teaching in theory, she can demonstrate to make it easier to understand the movements and the target goal.
What makes Kay differ from other coaches is also her broader knowledge in anatomy and physiology. You feel safe when she is around and she is making sure by watching you closely that you will avoid injures. She can also give you useful advice about nutrition, and guidance on how to treat your body and mind to perform better. Above all these, Kay was my motivation and the one that helped me stay consistent and keep training even during quarantine. She was would improvise with whatever equipment we could find in our houses or outdoors and make working out interesting, fun and effective everywhere. She helped me keep my psychology up and keep moving forward. I am proud to consider Kay not only my excellent coach but also a real friend that is always there to provide advice and assistance.

In my quest for a healthier lifestyle, I came across Kay, a fitness instructor who changed my perspective
on exercise. Her expertise and dedication taught me how to better care for my body.

Pri Kay treniram že pol leta. Z veseljem hodim na treninge, saj me izredno podpira na moji poti. Ob mojem vidnem napredku pa je večkrat navdušena bolj kot jaz.
Je izredno prijazna, sočutna in topla oseba, a hkrati profesionalna in disciplinirana. Vedno
ponudi več, kot pričakuješ (dodatne vaje, blazina za sproščanje itd.)
Všeč mi je, ker mi med ali po treningu nudi ogromno podpore in motivacije za nadaljno delo na sebi.
S treningom pri Kay imaš ob sebi ves čas osebo, ki verjame vate.
Bonus pa je, da se med treningom lahko naučiš še kakšno grško besedo. Ela Ela (gr. Gremo, hitreje)"
"I attend trainings with Kay more than half a year now. Since then I have really improved myself (muscle, stamina, stability, etc).
Kay is such a warm and kind person. Usually she is more happy about my progress than me.
But still, she maintain focus and professionalism during trainings.
I cannot recommend Kay enough, because she is not just a trainer. She is a friend and a buddy in sweat and tears during and after the training.
She is super supportive and I enjoy our session every time, no matter how hard it gets.
